Residents urge call-girls move near Plaza Mayor | Costa del Sol | News | The Largest English Language Newspapers in Spain

Euro Weekly News | Residents urge call-girls move near Plaza Mayor | Costa del Sol | News | The Largest English Language Newspapers in Spain: "RESIDENTS and business owners in the areas surrounding the Guadalhorce Industrial Estate and Alameda de Colon in Malaga have proposed an alternative area for prostitutes. Prostitution is a problem in the area and when new municipal laws come into effect, prostitutes and their clients can be fined for working in those areas, less than 200 metres from inhabited areas, schools or commercial establishments.

Therefore, residents have proposed that they take their trade to a plot in the Arraijanal area, 500 metres from the Plaza Mayor shopping centre, near the train tracks.

The President of the Centro Sur Association which is proposing the move claims the area is safe, well-lit, built-up, and accessible by train and car.

Tatiana Garcia, who represents the working girls on the Guadalhorce Industrial Estate has said that a group of women would be willing to visit the area and consider the move, although the women who work at night prefer to remain at the estate and will protest if they are not allowed to work in peace."
