National Police identified two individuals, H.J.D. from Holland and F.K. from Belgium, who they had tracked to Ibiza thanks to information from police in Lloret de Mar. They were believed to be in Ibiza to prepare their boat, the ‘Naomy’, which was moored in San Antonio, for a drug buying trip to North Africa.
The boat and its crew were kept under surveillance, until it was spotted sailing 50 miles off the Almería coast last Saturday. Officers found two tons of cannabis on board when they boarded the boat and took the crew into custody.
