The Duke of Palma defends the Infanta and the King from 'spurious attacks'

Iñaki Urdangarin has defended his wife, the Infanta Cristina and the King from the ‘spurious attacks’ made against them. His lawyer, Mario Pascual Vives, has said he considers that the claims by the Manos Limpias group need a ‘call to order’ for breaking the principle of respect. He has presented a letter to the judge where he defends the innocence of the Infanta Cristina and that of the King in the Nóos case. Meanwhile the Instruction Judge in the Palma Arena case, José Castro, has once again rejected the idea of indicting the Infanta, saying that ‘until now the existence of criminality regarding her has not been seen’. It follows his earlier comment that he had not charged her so as not to stigmatise the Duchess. Castro has criticised Manos Limpias for having made an appeal without reading the resolution. They had compared the Infanta to the wife of Diego Torres, Ana Tejeiro the Duke’s ex partner, and who is indicted in the case.
