Spanish diva, Isabel Pantoja,Spanish singer is facing money laundering charges arising from her relationship with Julián Muñoz

The Provincial Court in Málaga has rejected the appeal placed before it by the defence team for Spanish diva, Isabel Pantoja, against the ruling by Judge Óscar Pérez, in which she faces charges along with her ex lover, the ex Mayor, Julián Muñoz, and his ex wife, Mayte Zaldívar.

Isabel Pantoja had claimed in her appeal that she had started to save money before meeting and starting a relationship with Julián Muñoz, but the court rejected the claim saying that Óscar Pérez had acted correctly. She still therefore faces a possible three and a half year prison sentence and a 3.7 million € fine on money laundering charges.
