30 kilos of cocaine goes missing from the Sevilla toxicology institute

Four years after more than 150 kilos of cocaine vanished from the main police station in Sevilla, yesterday it was discovered that about 30 kilos of the drug has gone missing from the National Institute of Toxicology and Forensic Science in Sevilla. The drug was waiting to be analysed by the technicians before it would have been destroyed. The theft has been confirmed by the Ministry for Justice on which the institute depends. The drug was stored in a supposedly secure building in the chemistry service department.
