Moroccan court on Wednesday postponed to January 30 the trial of four Britons and a Moroccan, who were arrested in June 2006 in the Moroccan capital.
The postponement came following the absence of the four Britons during the hearing. These are Lee Ibrahim Murray, Paul Allan, Armitage Guerry and Mustafa Basar.
Mr. Murray was sentenced by a Moroccan court to eight months in jail, while Paul Allan was sentenced to eight months and MAD 10,000 fine each, on charges of "drug possession and consumption" and "assault against police officers".
London accuses Lee Lamrani Ibrahim Murray of masterminding the bank robbery committed in February 2006, in which 53Mn pounds were stolen from Securitas cash depot in Kent, southern England.
The Supreme Court is examining the extradition request filed by the United Kingdom concerning Lee Murray, currently held in custody, while the extradition request concerning Allan Paul was validated on May 2.
