man is in hospital in Marbella after being stabbed by his partner, who is reported to have then tried to commit suicide. It happened at 2am on Thursday at the couple’s home in San Pedro de Alcántara. Police were called to the scene on reports of a possible case of domestic violence, in which two people, both Spaniards, were injured. The man is now in the Costa del Sol Hospital with two stab wounds, while Diario Sur reports that his wife also needed attention for some cuts. She remains under police custody in hospital, and is expected to make a statement to the judge shortly."
