Francisco Ramirez, who killed two burglars who broke into his villa in January 2006, has been found not guilty after the court accepted his plea of self-defence. The case against him had been brought by the widows of the two deceased.He told the court he fired his gun fearing for his own life, and the court noted that he had a licence for the pistol he used.The same court in Valencia also found seven of 11 accused guilty of several charges of violent robbery and intimidation, handing down prison terms of between 12 and 15 years.
