woman was murdered on Thursday night by her partner at their home in Palma de Mallorca.National Police were called out to the street in the Camp Redó district of the city at around 22.00hrs by the victim's family, when they were concerned that they had been unable to reach her by telephone all day.Officers found that her throat had been slit and she had been inserted into a plastic bag.They believe she had been killed by her husband, who had fled the scene shortly after the murder.
This is the first reported case of domestic violence in the Balearics so far this year.
