The latest information confirms that the body discovered on the beach in Sabinillas is that of a woman. The dismembered body parts were found amongst piles of debris washed up on the beach after the torrential rains of Friday night.The body was removed by Guardia Civil officers at 13.30 hrs and taken to the Institute of Forensic Anatomy for investigation. There was no identification on the body and police report that DNA and dental records would be needed to identify the victim and the cause of death although early indications are that it was a violent one.
